My roommate and I recently moved to Ft. Thomas and were looking for a cute little neighborhood restaurant for lunch one day. We came upon Cobblestone, and we couldn't have picked a better place! The atmosphere of the restaurant is so welcoming and quaint. There were so many things on the menu that sounded delicious-from sandwiches and wraps to soups and salads-that I had a hard time deciding what to get! I decided on the honey mustard chicken wrap and couldn't have been more satisfied. And the brownie I had for dessert was the best brownie I've ever had. Needless to say, my roommate and I found everything we were looking for in Cobblestone Cafe, and we can't wait to go back for a relaxing afternoon over lunch and to try some of the other menu options!

I had the twisted ham and cheese on a pretzel bun. The bun was soft and the sandwich was packed full of ham. I immediately said it was the best ham and cheese sandwich I've ever had. The chicken noodle soup is also great, and the fruit cup was actually fresh fruit, not canned fruit like many other places. I'll be going back.

I LOVE the Cobblestone. My whole family and I love this place. Everything on the menu is amazing. The chicken salad is divine. The twisted ham and cheese - which comes hot on a pretzel bun with spicy brown mustard - is delicious. I also recommend ordering a tuna melt, which is not on the menu but they will happily make it for you. It's made with cheddar cheese and comes on marble rye :)

Sandwiches just like Mom used to make; they're even cut diagonally for you! Just off of the Grand Avenue exit in Fort Thomas, this quaint lunchtime shop is really inside a cobblestone building. Inside, the restaurant boasts bright colors and hardwood floors. There are plenty of tables as well as the popular covered patio, where you can sit and enjoy the outdoors. Behind the counter, a long blackboard painted on the wall is crammed full of delicious salad and sandwich options. All of the available ingredients are also listed in a "build your own" category. With six different kinds of bread and dozens of meat and cheese varieties, Cobblestone can craft a sandwich for any appetite. My favorites include ham and melted cheese on the pretzel bun, buffalo chicken salad, the BLT, or the tuna salad on marble rye. Pretty much everything here is good. Next to the counter, a daily helping of fresh side dishes can be added to any sandwich, as well as a choice from three soups. The coleslaw is delectably tangy and the potato salad comes with fresh chunks of redskin potatoes in a light sauce. All sandwiches come with chips and have the option of fresh baked cookies or brownies for dessert. A cafe couldn't be more homey than this! Price per person: $8.00

I know I say this a lot, but sandwiches aren't really my thing. However, after watching diners, drive-in's and dives marathons with man-friend we've come to the conclusion that It's not so much that I don't like sandwiches, it's just more that I prefer hot sandwiches. Today I was doing home visits for work in northern Kentucky and I saw Cindy G's 5 star review for this cafe pop up for "nearby" recommendations, so I decided to give it a try. It's tucked away in an obscure little plaza and oh so cozy inside. I got a carry out order that was ready in less than 7 minutes, and the ladies working behind the counter were very helpful and accommodating. I ended up ordering the twisted ham and cheese and the coleslaw. That sandwich comes with chips and pickles for 6.99 and I added coleslaw for a mere 1.29. My sandwich was served hot and came on a pretzel bun. I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I have kind of a love affair going on with all things soft pretzel... They are just so perfect. And so was this sandwich! Oh and the coleslaw was divine, my only complaint is that I wish there'd been more! After half a sandwich, coleslaw and chips, I was full so I'm looking forward to yummy leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Cobblestone is a great find, but they're only open for lunch (10:30am-3pm) - so come on your break! Or for lunch on a Saturday, you will be glad you did!

Good food and atmosphere. The Chicken Caesar wrap was top notch. Need a place like this everywhere I travel.

Happened in to this lovely cafe on their 10th anniversary. We were greeted warmly by the owner. The place was packed and the staff didn't seem stressed at all. The food was fresh and flavorful. I had the hot Italian sub and it was stacked with meat on a soft fresh baked bun. My husband had the turkey Reuben and he was very happy with his selection and portion size. Definitely a go to when we visit our son in Ft Thomas.

I ate at the Cobblestone Cafe today after a long hiatus. I go through phases of eating in areas near(ish) to my law office until I've exhausted my options, and eventually, Ft. Thomas fell out of favor because there were other eateries opening, well....other places! Driving aimlessly today, I remembered I hadn't been to Cobblestone in forever, and directed my car in that direction. I recall that Cobbleston was always busy, and that hasn't changed--which is a great thing. I love to support local businesses, so I'm very happy to see that this one is successful, even more so than before. A happy surprise today was walking up to place my order (the Buffalo Chicken Salad wrap--OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!) to see Marcy, who used to be the proprietor of my favorite little lunch place in Bellevue, manning the register. After exchanging pleasantries, I went to sit down and consumed the entire wrap--the chicken was so tender--all breast meat, nothing "unexpected" or questionable, and there was a lot of it, not just "fillers" like celery or onion, and the Buffalo sauce and bleu cheese weren't at all overpowering--very creamy and full of flavor. I ordered mine on a spinach tortilla, and unlike other wraps I've had elsewhere, the tortilla was fresh and supple and easy to handle, not dry and brittle where you lose half the contents after the first few bites. I grabbed a menu for staff lunch meetings and I think Ft. Thomas is back on the list of "go to" places for lunch hour!

Cobblestone is the quintessential small town lunch spot. The food is fresh, delicious and arrives quickly, and if you live in town, you're practically guaranteed to see someone you know while you're there. My kids love to go to Cobblestone because their kids meal PB&J sandwiches are cut into shapes and decorated with a few Skittles. Each kids meal also comes with goldfish, some sort of fruit and a juice box. My personal favorite is the veggie wrap which has all kids of fresh veggies with an amazing dill cream sauce. Also love the Twisted ham and cheese. Don't forget a brownie!! We ate there today and it was great as usual!!

This is a GREAT little sandwich shop! It's been crowded everytime I went and it's easy to see why. The staff is super friendly & the food is amazing. The twisted ham and cheese sandwich on the pretzel bun is my favorite (so far!).

This enchanting little deli in Ft. Thomas serves up fresh sandwiches, salads, and soups at reasonable prices. You place your order at the counter, which allows you to peruse the different cold salads and desserts. Cobblestone must do an unbelievable carry-out business because we saw several people exiting big to-go bags and the phone rang the whole time with new orders. I selected the Three Scoop Plate, a platter made with my choice of three homemade salads with fresh fruit and a slice croissant. I chose the Redskin Sweet Potato Salad (a tasty concoction made with redskin and sweet potatoes, seasoned with dill, and blended with the right amount of mayo), Cole Slaw (a sweet and tangy version made with poppy seeds), and chicken salad. I also order a side of pasta salad made with three kinds of diced sweet peppers and chunks of cheese. Each salad had been made with care and quality ingredients. My friend could only describe his Hot Italian Sub as simply "phenomenal." The staff was cordial and our meals were delivered very quickly despite our lunch rush timing. I'll definitely be back again.

In all honesty, I'm still working my way through their menu to find out whether I love this place or just realllly like it. In either case, this is a local business operated by some of the friendliest people around, and they are putting out some exceptionally good sandwiches. Can't go wrong with that. Unless you hate sandwiches or nice people. If this spot is anywhere close to your lunch radius, you should immediately write-off any chain sandwich place. Even the mega-businesses can't really beat $7 for a sandwich with chips, so the fact that Cobblestone's sandwiches make Subway look like dirt just makes the decision a no-brainer.

I met two friends here for lunch one day. I had looked at the menu online and it seemed like a good menu at expected cafe-deli prices. When I got there, that was confirmed to me. I ordered the honey Dijon chicken wrap (wheat) and substituted the chips for a fruit cup. The extra cost wasn't enough to keep me from substituting, but it would be nice if they let you choose your side across the board. The portion was smaller than I expected, but not in a bad way. Too often at restaurants you get more food than you can eat. This was just enough to fill me up without making me feel too full. I did enjoy the wrap; it was really good, though a little heavy on the cheese. I prefer more lettuce and less cheese. Next time I think I'll ask for that now that I know what to expect. We split a brownie for dessert, which was also really good. The staff was so nice to us the entire time we were there. They didn't mind us staying at our table for 2.5 hours either, even though they were fairly busy. We all received our orders quickly and everything looked and tasted great. I'd definitely go back to Cobblestone in the future. They have so many great food options at a decent price that there will always be something new to try. Plus the setting is small and comfortable. It'd make a nice regular hang out.

Growing up in Ft. Thomas, Cobblestone was always a go-to. And it still is when I'm craving a soup and sandwich. They've got this sandwich-making down to a science. It is exactly the same and equally delicious every time I visit. This is a standard soup, salad, sandwich joint- there's nothing crazy or super fou-fou about it. But that's exactly why I love it.

Cobblestone Cafe...phew. As I write this review I can barely contain my drool. A quaint little Cafe located in Ft. Thomas. You would never know it was there unless someone told you about it or took you here. I've driven past it a million times. My intern, who lives here recently brought some of their killer cole slaw to our Potluck in the Park, so I looked it up on Yelp and decided to give it a try! I went by myself for lunch and could not have had a better experience. I walked up to the counter and asked the lovely woman what they were most known for and she suggested the twisted ham and cheese on a homemade pretzel bun so that is what I went with. HOLY deliciousness sent down by the gods. I grew up with in a family of chefs and one thing that was ingrained in me is that food doesn't have to be fancy. Simple food executed properly is some of the most delicious and heartfelt. And this is what this place is! Literally--Ham, cheese, spicy mustard on a bun, served with chips for around $6 bucks. Also, I do have to mention that the patio is gorgeous! It really is cobblestone and has a beautiful pergola draped with greenery. Go visit this charming little locally owned business and you will find yourself addicted. Delicious!

Super-cute little neighborhood cafe with an extensive sandwich and salad menu plus daily specials including a rotating selection of soups. On a recent visit for lunch, I ordered the half sandwich/soup combo with a Turkey Reuben and cup of Tomato Basil Raviolini soup. The combo also comes with a bag of potato chips and I added a peanut butter oatmeal cookie and fresh-brewed iced tea. The sandwich was very good--toasty bread and melty insides. The soup was just OK, a little too Chef Boyardee for my liking. The cookie was definitely worth it--not overly sweet and a nice, chewy texture from the oatmeal. There's plenty of seating: inside the cafe, in an enclosed porch, or on the patio outside. You order and pay at the counter and then food is delivered to your table. Great neighborhood vibe!

Cobblestone Café is a nice casual place to enjoy a late breakfast or lunch with friends or family. The food, mostly soups, sandwiches and salads, are simple, yet delicious. It is nice to have a locally owned café given the high volume of other chain sandwich restaurants we have in the immediate area. I highly recommend the Rueben and the Chicken salad - both are delicious. I was not a fan of the chili, but I will caveat my opinion of the chili with the fact that I normally don't care for Northern Kentucky / Cincinnati style chili with hints of cinnamon flavoring. Cobblestone also has a nice patio area, assuming there is space, in the event there is good weather - it's a nice break to sit outside in a "small town" feel of Fort Thomas if you are used to the commotion of other areas. One negative is that I have frequented the location on three occasions, and seating capacity seems constrained. It is a" seat yourself" establishment, so there are a lot of folks that take a 6 person table top unnecessarily. In addition, Cobblestone has always been busy when I go - in other words, I'm not sure you can always "bank" on a table top if you go with someone, which is a bit uneasy if you are meeting for a business lunch or for a first time date.

Great, fresh made food. Get there quickly, it can fill up fast! Love the sandwiches and the quick service. Not that many options in fort Thomas but this is the best.

Great menu and home cooked style. Very fresh cafe feeling and food. It is a little over priced in my opinion but it's Ft. Thomas so it's not really surprising. Their servings are pretty big and the venue itself is quaint with indoor/outdoor seating. I recommend their turkey Ruben.. It's really the main reason I keep going back.
